About Scentarchy

Scentarchy is India’s independent perfume encyclopedia and dupe lab. We started with a simple frustration: the world’s best fragrance databases ignore Indian weather, Indian sellers, and the incredible Indian houses making world-class alternatives at honest prices.

So we built the database we wanted — every perfume rated for Indian heat, every dupe compared openly, every price in rupees from sellers we’ve actually verified.

What we do

The encyclopedia. Thousands of perfumes — designer, niche, Middle Eastern, and Indian — with notes, accords, and honest descriptions, all in one place.

The dupe finder. Type any expensive perfume and find affordable Indian alternatives, with similarity scores and side-by-side comparisons.

AI discovery. An AI scent quiz, accord finder, and note search that learn what your nose likes and point you to your next favourite.

Verified sellers. A curated list of authentic Indian sellers — official brand stores only. No grey market, no fakes, ever.

The community. Reviews, forums, and awards driven by Indian fragrance lovers — from first-time buyers to seasoned collectors.

Our aim

Fragrance in India has a trust problem: inflated claims, fake bottles, and advice written for European weather. Our aim is simple — make it safe and joyful for every Indian to explore perfume.

That means honest data over marketing, Indian prices over dollar conversions, and heat-tested opinions over air-conditioned reviews. Whether you spend ₹500 or ₹50,000, you deserve to know exactly what you’re getting.

How we stay independent

We don’t sell perfume ourselves, and sellers can’t pay for better scores. When we get something wrong, the community corrects us — publicly. That’s the deal.
