Composition
Sauvage turned up to eleven — a dense spicy elixir with a famous licorice twist. Beast-mode performance, premium price.
Grapefruit and nutmeg open with a spicy jolt, cardamom adding a dark, almost boozy warmth. Lavender rises through the heart, thick and herbal, and then the base — ambroxan, licorice, amber — turns dense and resinous, like the desert at midnight. This is Sauvage concentrated into an extrait: louder, thicker, more demanding. To me it smells like a storm that decided to stay. Magnificent, but it will wear you if you let it. Not for beginners — sample it on skin first.

My Perfume Secrets
MPS Sauvage Parfum EditionAlternative to Sauvage Elixir
The headline notes of Sauvage Elixir are all present and correct, and blind testers placed it in the same family immediately. Longevity and sillage trail the original by a couple of hours, but for the money this is among the strongest value plays in its category.

Reviews
Denser, spicier, more refined than the EDT. The licorice note is divisive — sample first. Performance is elite.
